Resources

How To:

  • A video on how to use the Korail App on your phone

Favorite Blogs:
  • EYK (or Eat Your Kimchi)- if you are moving to Korea, I recommend spending hours and hours going through this website. Not only are they HILARIOUS, but they have tons of experience, give great advice, and give an overall great look into what life is like in Korea. Be sure to check out their ENTIRE website, as well as their several YouTube channels.
  • Jill in Korea-  Jill lived in Korea for some time, but has now gone back home. Her blog is energetic, fun and informative, but she has retired from blogging now that she is working full-time. I recommend reading some of her past posts.
  • Red Pen of Doom- Katherine is a girl in my EPIK intake, whom I met up with before orientation, and is also placed in Daegu. Her blog is humorous and witty, but also very informative. Some useful blog posts for those new to Korea include Setting up online banking with KEB and Paying your bills online with KEB. She also has a pretty comprehensive Google map that is really helpful. I'm sure there are more to come...
